Chemo is yucky!

Well, Jeanine is fighting like a champ...although the chemo has a way of hitting below the belt at times :) She planned to leave for MDA today to get her stitches out tomorrow, but didn't feel up to the long drive. I think Dr. Balbastro will remove the sutures and she had the CT that they wanted to do in Houston here in Abilene last week.

Way to go Jeanine! Support your local medical facilities :)

Keep praying that Jeanine will land a hard blow and get a TKO on chemo side effects at the same time the chemo "knocks out" those cancer cells.

Thanks for all of your support and prayers.....Jeanine's Journalist

  5. Jeanine I love that awesome smile.
We know who the giver of all good things is.
May Jesus continue to hold you in the palms of His hands and lift your spirits.

I will be walking in your name Sat. Aug. 29. Light the Night is for those who have cancer of the blood but I want to walk for you.

May your days be as pain free as possible.

  6. On Jeanine's behalf I want to say...You guys are awesome! I don't know if she has been up to getting on the computer in the last few days, but I'll ask Dick to pull her blogspot up so she can hear your loving encouragement for herself. NOTHING lifts her spirits like the reassurance that we are praying for her, so keep those prayers headed heavenward!! Love to all....Jeanine and her Journalist :)
